As a vision, as the underlying desire behind our actions, Iglesia di Dios feels connected to the vision and the text with which Jesus began his ministry in Nazareth. Jesus said:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
Because He has anointed Me,
To bring the gospel to the poor;
And he hath sent me to preach deliverance to the captives,
And sight to the blind,
To send the defeated away in freedom,
To proclaim the acceptable year of our Lord."
(Luke 4:18-19, Isaiah 61:1-2)

“Pursue love” (1 Cor. 14:1).

Iglesia di Dios wants to be like a tree that bears fruit. This is our mission. The fruit can grow and then develop on its own, with the Lord and with us as a congregation. The congregation wants to stand as a pillar upon which people can stand and grow in proclaiming the Word. Iglesia di Dios wants to be a foundation, a base under the feet of its members.

Iglesia di Dios's goal in her work is to persevere and to make changes within the congregation where necessary. The congregation desires to be a full house for believers and for new people. Iglesia di Dios wants many souls to be converted.
